De Gemeinschaft umweltfreundlicher Teppichboden e.V. is het samenwerkingsverband van de toonaangevende tapijtfabrikanten in Europa. Het doel is de voortdurende verbetering en doorontwikkeling van de milieunormen voor tapijt. Met het PRODIS-productpaspoort voor tapijt heeft de GUT een toekomstgericht productinformatiesysteem ontwikkeld dat de eindklant gedetailleerde informatie (zoals samenstelling, milieuvriendelijkheid, gebruikseigenschappen en onderhoudsinstructies<\/span>)<\/span> over de betreffende textiele vloerbedekking eenvoudig, snel en transparant presenteert. <\/p>\n

Sinds 1990 staat het GUT-label voor textiele vloerbedekkingen die zijn getest op schadelijke stoffen en emissies.
